There are so many decisions to make around your special event. Selecting the right menu might be the biggest, but it doesn’t need to be stressful. Once you decide how many guests will be attending, and if you will serve buffet or plated, what comes next?
“I truly enjoy making a memorable dining experience for our guests where we are able to showcase the experience and talent of our culinary team at the standard club. Brides and grooms should remember that it is your special day and choose a menu that they want, it is a night you will never forget. Also, don’t forget to get a plate to take home as you will be so busy, you will most likely forget to eat.”Advice from The Standard Club Executive Chef, Scott Meyer
Don’t Try To Please Everyone: This might go against a lot of popular advice, but we recommend that you do not try to please all of your guests. Of course, you want to take a look at your guest list and determine if you think a buffet or plated option would work best. But, thinking about 100+ individual likes and dislikes is hard to do. Give enough choices and your guests will find something they like.
Personalize It: Your food is another way you can personalize your event. Do you have a favorite restaurant? Do you have a favorite travel destination? What about family traditions? It is always nice to add a personal touch, either in the main course, as an appetizer, or late-night snack. Have fun with your menu and create dinner stations where different flavors can be easily incorporated.
Here at The Standard Club, we believe that good food and attentive service, help bring family and friends together for any occasion. You will find The Standard Club provides a wide variety of food and beverage options perfect for your occasion. Specially tailored menus may be designed and can be served in many styles, according to your wishes.
We look forward to discussing your upcoming events with you and assuring you that The Standard Club will surpass your expectations with exemplary service and flawless attention to detail.
