Don’t Try To Please Everyone: This might go against a lot of popular advice, but we recommend that you do not try to please all of your guests. Of course, you want to take a look at your guest list and determine if you think a buffet or plated option would work best. But, thinking about 100+ individual likes and dislikes is hard to do. Give enough choices and your guests will find something they like.

Personalize It: Your food is another way you can personalize your event. Do you have a favorite restaurant? Do you have a favorite travel destination? What about family traditions? It is always nice to add a personal touch, either in the main course, as an appetizer, or late-night snack. Have fun with your menu and create dinner stations where different flavors can be easily incorporated.

No matter what wedding trends, or traditions you want to incorporate into your wedding, it is ok to think outside the box.  The rule book has been updated and the important thing to remember is that it is ok to have fun and show off your personality!

  1. Vibrant Color Schemes & Bold Color Palettes

2022 brings vibrant and bold color schemes back to the wedding style. Tablecloths and napkins are great ways to add color.  Use vintage plates and glassware to design an unexpected touch. 

2. Making a Fun & Interactive Element for your guests

Consider adding a fun element for your guests to interact with. Photo booths have come a long way. There are now options for 360 photo imaging – think E! Live from the red carpet. It is a great way to capture the candid moments of your guests.

What about dueling musicians?  Or, Professional Dancers?  Create a fun intermission and really get your guests involved and on the dance floor.

3. Cake is back

Cake has been a staple in wedding traditions since Victorian times.  White was always the standard, but it doesn’t need to be boring. Add color with edible flowers, or vibrantly colored icing.

4. Pre-wedding refreshments

Typically, guests begin arriving approximately 30 minutes prior to your ceremony; why not welcome them with a sip of champagne or a seasonal infused water station.

5. Nontraditional guest books
